Join us for a fun, supportive family-friendly group hike in the Catskills! We will meet at the Huckleberry Point trailhead in Elka Park, NY and take the 4.6 mile Huckleberry Point out-and-back trail. This is a beautiful, moderate forested trail with a stunning viewpoint at the end and many opportunities for snack breaks along the way. It is challenging for toddlers to hike the whole way, so backpacks or carrying devices are strongly encouraged for when little legs get tired. The route is adaptable so we can adjust based on the group’s mood - we’re in this together! Snacks, sunscreen, and bug spray will be provided, and kid carrier hiking backpacks are available for rent (select the add-on option on the sign up page). Pack a lunch and enjoy by the beautiful nearby waterfall for a picnic afterwards!
